Influence of environmental boundary conditions on convective heat transfer coefficients of wall internal surface

In this study, convective heat transfer phenomena were investigated by means of a Guarded Hot Box (GHB) apparatus. An experimental setup characterized air and surface temperature probes, hot-wire anemometer was used. Five small fans installed in the metering chamber to generate forced flow different velocity values. So, GHB used for investigating influence speed values on internal coefficients. Considering horizontal fluxes, an coefficient 2.5 W/m2K is reported Standard ISO 6946. However, no exhaustive description about value provided. The aim work experimentally determine thermal resistance, quantifying how varies as changes.
